Big Chanterelle Charm
I first created little mushroom charms to be ornaments when I learned of amanita mushrooms connections to Christmas. Since then I have made them year round and added different types for you adorn your home/walls/cars/whatever you like.
After sculpting, there is a drying period, a bisque fire, they are hand painted, and then go through a glaze firing. During the glaze firing they are set on tiny stilts so they do not fuse with the kiln shelf. Often there are three tiny marks on the tiny ceramic pieces I make, these are not a design flaw but just a mark of firing tiny things in the way I do.
