About Enyo

Words from my kin

enyo azar farabi (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist talented in a number of mediums, some of which include adorning skin, molding earth, electroforming the elements, nature seeking, sewing dirt, creature whispering, and soul nurturing. their work is centered on uplifting and honoring Black and Indigenous, queer and trans, disabled and neurodivergent liberation. SWANA and South Asian art, history, and culture are heavily threaded throughout their practice. there is a deep whimsy, sweetness, and desire to come back to our foundations, and a thicket of curiosity for the mysterious that you will find throughout their pieces whether that be through an exploration of viscera, plant friends, Piscean lore, or Persian protective charms. their art is emotional, political, and designed to enable those who meet them to meet themselves a little deeper.
