This wheel thrown stoneware cup features five hand sculpted mushrooms, fits around 11 ounces of liquid, and food safe glaze. The entire thing is glazed in my Scorpio colorway. It is mostly black but has shimmery qualities and bits of red in it, which reminds me of the mysteries and layers of an often misunderstood sun sign.

Each vessel is wheel thrown, trimmed, adornments and handles are added, then it is kiln fired, the glaze is hand painted, and it then goes through a final firing process. These ceramics should not be microwaved as they contain natural minerals in the glazes. Ceramics will live a much longer life if hand washed due to the temperature changes and harshness of a dishwasher.
